Director's Bay

Director's Bay is a calm, sheltered cove once reserved for Shell oil executives, now a quiet spot for swimming and snorkelling near Caracas Bay.

About 20 minutes from town on the southeast point, the bay has soft sand, calm water and an old pier with marine life around its pilings. There is a small bar in season. Nearby Caracas Bay and the Tugboat dive site make it easy to combine with other underwater highlights.

Good to know

  • Snorkel around the old pier structures for fish.
  • Pair with the nearby Tugboat site for a snorkel day.
  • Quiet and calm — a good escape from busier beaches.
