Kleine Knip (Kenepa Chiki)
Kleine Knip, or Kenepa Chiki, is the quieter little sister of Grote Knip — a compact cove with natural shade from sea-grape trees and clear, calm water.
Just down the road from Grote Knip on the west end, Kleine Knip is free and far less crowded. The shade makes it the better choice for a long, lazy beach day, and the rocky edges on either side hold good snorkelling. Facilities are minimal, so come prepared with water and snacks. Together with Grote Knip it makes the perfect west-coast pairing.
Good to know
- Stake out a sea-grape tree early for free natural shade.
- Snorkel the right-hand rocks for small reef fish.
- No beach bar — pack everything you need.
