Mushroom Forest Dive Site
The Mushroom Forest is a shallow west-coast site named for its dense field of star coral grown into mushroom shapes, sheltering moray eels, lobster and reef fish.
Reached by boat near Saint Willibrordus, it is usually combined with the adjacent Blue Room, a partly submerged cave that glows electric blue when sunlight enters from below. The coral formations sit at a comfortable depth suitable for most divers and skilled snorkellers, and the variety of life makes it one of the island's signature sites.
