Pink flocks gather in the brackish lagoons, especially around dawn and dusk. View and photograph them from a respectful distance, never approach, as they spook easily and flight wastes their energy.
The nearby Sint Willibrordus area and other salt flats also host them
It is an easy roadside stop on the way to or from the western beaches.
